The order of the world, both the upper and lower realms, its interconnectedness, and its functioning according to a precise system that neither changes nor becomes corrupt is the strongest evidence that its manager is One, and there is no god besides Him.
Allah Almighty said: {Had there been within them [i.e., the heavens and earth] gods besides Allah, they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.} [Al-Anbya: 22]. If there were gods in the heavens and the earth worthy of worship besides Allah, who is the Creator of all things, and to whom worship and divinity belong exclusively, then the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth would have been corrupted. And Allah Almighty said: {Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have [sought to] overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].} [Al-Mu'minun: 91]. Allah, the Exalted, says: Allah has no son, nor was there with Him from eternity, or at the time of His creation of things, anyone worthy of worship. Otherwise, each god would have withdrawn with what he created, claiming it for himself. They would have vied for dominance, and the strong would have overpowered the weak, for the strong would not accept being surpassed by the weak, and the weak is unfit to be a god. Glory be to Allah! What an eloquent and concise argument it is for those who understand and reflect.
Thus, the evidence of the universe's order and lack of corruption is a strong rational proof of the oneness of Allah. Sound minds cannot refute it, as they witness the order of the heavens and the earth and everything within them, which indicates the existence of one God who is unique in creation and management. This necessitates directing worship to Him alone, without associating others with Him.
