Episode (4)
Know that the radiance of "There is no god but Allah" dispels the fog of sins and its clouds according to the strength or weakness of that radiance. It has light, and the differences among its adherents in that light—whether strong or weak—are known only to Allah the Exalted. Among people, some have the light of this phrase in their hearts like the sun, others like a shining star, some like a great torch, others like a glowing lamp, and some like a weak lantern. Hence, on the Day of Judgment, the lights will appear on their right hands and before them in proportion to the light of this phrase in their hearts, according to their knowledge, practice, understanding, and state.
The greater the light of this phrase and the stronger it becomes, the more it burns away doubts and desires according to its intensity and power. There may come a state where no doubt, desire, or sin can withstand this light; it burns them all away. This is the condition of the person who is sincere in their monotheism and has not associated anything with Allah. Any sin, desire, or doubt that approaches this light is consumed by it. The sky of their faith is guarded by stars against any thief of their good deeds. A thief can only steal from it by deception and negligence, which are inevitable for humans. If the person awakens and realizes what has been stolen from them, they recover it from the thief or earn multiples of it through their efforts. Thus, they remain vigilant against the thieves of jinn and humans, unlike someone who opens their treasure and turns their back to the door.
